Maths is our life
Aidin and Jonathan, two Mathematics teachers at Dulwich College, founded Apstar Tutoring together in 2023.
We share a love of maths, an ability to engage and motivate pupils and an understanding of how to break down complex ideas so that everyone can understand them. In addition to 20 years of classroom teaching, we are both GCSE and A level Examiners with a range of exam boards, as well as in-person and online tutors, covering all content from 7+ to Oxbridge entry.
We know what it takes to get students the best possible grades and have enabled over 2000 students to reach their full potential.
Aidin Poori, MSc
Aidin has been teaching Maths at Dulwich College since 2015, having previously been an Advanced Skills Teacher Trainer with the Harris Federation.
He is an official Examiner with both AQA and Pearson (Edexcel) boards at GCSE and A level and has vast experience with tutoring, having been the Lead Tutor at Physics and Maths Tutor.
Jonathan Ratnasabapathy, MA
Jonathan is a Cambridge graduate who has taught Maths at Dulwich College for over 10 years, having previously taught at at City of London and Habs.
He is an official Examiner at GCSE and A level for AQA and Pearson (Edexcel). As a Higher Education lead in all schools, he is a co-founder of the London School University Counselling Network and advises on US, International and Oxbridge applications.
